About the role
You will lead the Schools administration team and operations, ensuring efficient, high quality support across the School of Nursing and Midwifery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support, including meeting coordination, records management, correspondence, and stakeholder liaison.
- Manage data, reports, documentation, submissions, and written communications.
- Coordinate financial administration, including purchase orders, invoicing, payments, and record keeping.
- Respond to student, staff, and partner enquiries, including clinical placement support.
- Coordinate the administration team's workload and ensure efficient service delivery.
- Support timetabling, teaching administration, grades, and student records.
- Coordinate events, workshops, orientations, and training activities.
- Contribute to projects, policy reviews, and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications, skills & experience
- Possession of a degree qualification with relevant experience or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training.
- Demonstrated administrative capability with previous experience within a university or tertiary environment, would be highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, databases, timetabling systems, and administrative technologies.
- Sound understanding of policies, procedures, and data management practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating initiative and a service-focused approach.
- Proven ability to prepare accurate, high-quality documentation and reports.
- Knowledge of nursing and midwifery clinical placement, accreditation, and regulatory requirements is desirable.
